graduated at Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirao Preto (University of Sao Paulo Brazil), the more prestigious University in Brazil. He completed hisspecialization in Neurology in 2001 at the same University then he underwent a 3-year training in diagnostic and Interventional neuroradiology at the Louis Pasteur University at Strasbourg France with Professor Alain Tournade who, before becoming a neuroradiologist, was an Anatomist at the worldwide known Institute of Normal and Pathological Anatomy of the Strasbourg. In 2004, after he concluded the French Certification of Neuroradiology, he went to Pitié-Salpétrière Hospital a teaching hospital of Sorbonne University in Paris, that is one of Europe‘s largest hospitals, where he deepened his neuroradiological knowledge and started his PhD on interventional Neuroradiology that was concluded in 2008. Currently, he works on the General Hospital of Fortaleza – Brazil and is Former President of Brazilian Society of Neuroradiology, as well as he is member of the Educational Board of World Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology. His areas of expertise are: Endovascular Treatment of Cerebrovascular Disease in Adults and Children, Education, Neuroanatomy, Neuroimaging and Cerebrovascular Disease in general.
